A pocket-sized speedometer built for drivers who want a second opinion on their dash. The Speedo Boy pulls its speed straight from GPS satellites, so you get an independent, accurate reading no matter what your factory speedometer says.
It's plug and play! no wiring needed. Just plug it into any USB port using the included 6-foot cable and you're up and running.
Everything is controlled with a single scroll wheel on the back of the unit, so there's no fumbling through a phone app or a cluttered touchscreen. just scroll and push.
What it does:
- Speed Fine-Tuning – dial in GPS accuracy to match your actual speed (50–150, default 107)
- Overspeed Alarm – get an audible alert the moment you pass a speed you set (0–250 km/h)
- Fatigue Reminder – a nudge to take a break after driving for a set stretch (1.0–8.0 hours)
- Auto/Adjustable Brightness – auto or manual, 11 levels, so it's readable day or night
- km/h or mph – switch units in one tap
- Self-Correcting Clock – set the hour once; it syncs automatically once connected to satellites
Power: the Speedo Boy does not run on batteries. It powers on via USB, plugged into a port on the back of the device, using the included 6-foot USB cable. Any standard USB port will do, no wiring or installation required!
Also Included: the Speedo Boy also comes with a glass suction cup stand, so you can mount it securely to your windshield or dash right out of the box (clean over glass before applying for best suction)
Heads up: like any GPS device, it needs a clear view of the sky. It can take a minute to lock on after power-up, and it won't get a signal indoors or in a covered garage.
Please note: the Speedo Boy is housed in a game-style shell, but it is not a functional gaming console. There are no original console internals inside. Each unit is custom-built by us at Sakura86Style specifically as a GPS speedometer. The face buttons and switches are non-functional and are included for aesthetic looks only. All controls run through the scroll wheel on the back. Please handle it with care: it's a precision electronic device, not a toy.
